PHOTO STYLING WORKSHOP with theme Beach House and How to find, choose and crop the best photo angles

Next PHOTO STYLING workshop at Naturel Beach Club in Scheveningen (Den Haag) is on TUESDAY 16th of July. 

Theme is BEACH HOUSE and HOW TO FIND, CHOOSE AND CROP THE BEST PHOTO ANGLES. It's mean, that this workshop is more to persons who already can handle their camera and editing lines, brightness, colors and contrast to the photos afterwards (if not, you can come my Editing workshop). Because we are going to make portfolio level photos with Beach House theme.

Place for 6 person. Price 150€ and it's include drinks and a lunch. Hope to see you there!

I'm had today sooooo great private Real Room workshop with Maartje and Nathalie! Thanks girls!

Tomorrow I will start photo shoot with Happy Lights and "dining room" is almost ready!

Rock'n'Roll pasta!?

I found today from the food market BLACK (or grey) pasta. No any idea about taste. Maybe it's just only color - it's not look very tasty ;)  But I saw that it looks fantastic on my a glass jar and on white Moroccan handmade bowls from Mono Deco! Looks like a Rock'n'Roll pasta!

Editing and planning work day at home - perfect!

My new chair is perfect (almost) working at home today! I just thought that I'm gonna handle back side of the leather with black "shoe thing". Just getting it to the black.

Photo frame work

I made today some frames with photos from the REVS magazine. Easy way getting great pictures to the own wall is buy great special photography or fashion magazines.

The Black frame is Ikea Ribba - I found it from the street a year ago. White smallest frame (my favorite!) is from Loods5 and I have 5 of them.

How I found my Army tables?

When I decide move to The Netherland 2 years ago, I recognized that I can't take my old wooden huge dining/working table with me. This table was very very special for me - I wrote my very first interior story on it 8 years ago. I needed sawing off the pieces out of the legs on the staircase that I could fit it to one of my home's door in Helsinki - and it was perfect anyway.

Only way, how I could sold it, was that I had to find FIRST new table for me and from the Netherland. I had few Vtwonen magazines and books from my very first Amsterdam trip and I found this army table from Vtwonen book called Enjoy Your Home. It was in there - my future table! Perfect! But I saw it on white. I should only find it. And I found. From the Marktplaats. And I sold my wooden table.

Few months after I was arrived to Amsterdam, came the time go to pick up this army table to the home  from Sietsma Army Goods - the place outside in Amsterdam what I found from the Marktplaats only 60€/each. I bought couple tables and 6 steel boxes.

I still have 3 of those tables. One of them is today with short legs and stay at my living room and 2 another are at my home office. I love those tables so much today that it's miracle if I give them away in the future. Never. I could say today. Those tables are so useful, also when you will move, because them are folding tables.

This VTonen book Enjoy Your Home is all other way also really great. I love layout and interiors with full of ideas. Just like perfect interior/decoration book should be.

Army tables are also reason how we met with Vosges Paris Desiree. We were been in same VTwonen issue with our both own homes and she found me from the Facebook and saw that I selling one of those army tables. Now one of them is at Desiree's home :)

The trunk idea

I love Vtwonen magazine! Again brilliant deco idea just to my own home! This the trunk with a legs. I'm so gonna do similar with the my trunks!

Lekker Fris Home!

What I found from the newest issue of 101 Woonideeën magazine! Miranda's home! And full of many ideas. The bedroom is my favorite! And those photos are made my new friend Souraya Hassan from Binti-Home. So great!

Happened today:

I sat on my friend's moving car, when I suddenly saw container bin on the Ceinturbaan street and I screaming STOP, please stop. We stopped, I jump out from the car, I run, jumped to the bin and run back with these UPS letters. My friend doesn't had an idea what I doing before I came back to the car with these letters. How lucky I am??? Reeeeaaaal  lucky!

Black, black and white

Today I wanted to see Warehouse Weekender happening at Amsterdam Roest. And OMG... first what I saw was this the BLACK old steel suitcase on De Droomkast stand. A Must-Have. Now mine. Surprise?

And yes, this was 2nd last (or 3rd) black item in my home, I think. I will want keep my home White-Black and not Black-White. If you know what I mean ;)

Bamboo curtains are also painted now, so I will need somebody to set them ;)

Black & White WEEKEND - Sunday

I have to say that I have amazing luck with the street stuff. Look what I found THIS MORNING from the street! Old ladders! It's not an new idea at my home use them like magazine holder, but it's new thing that from the street 2 hours later I'm already painted them to the white! :D

I also painted my old wooden "Feather-towel-frame" to the black (again chalkboard paint) and it's much better now. I will need to just put towels and it's ready ;) I'm going to use 2 same feather towels.

Aaaaand...of course I have this new H&M Feather cushion too! It's gonna be part of my one photo shoot soon too.

NEXT Workshop location!

I   L O V E this place... I could live there, like I say of many places, but this is absolutely my favorite one! It's a Beach Club in Scheveningen (Den Haag). Amazing!

And yes, I have my next Photo Styling Workshop in there. I let you know more details soon as possible.

Black & White WEEKEND - Saturday

Here it is - my another frame project. Cheap canvas frame, what I'm used and painted different ways earlier + old wooden white painted frame + photos from the REVS magazine + white washitape. That's it.

I also received my Etsy order from USA! Amazing cushion cover from Jill2DayHOME. Jill has amazing ideas how to use recycled fabricks. Like this my new cushion: "This pillow cover is made from recycled sweaters purchased only at charity-based shops. The fabrics have been gently used, but are checked over, washed, dried and sewn securely into this new item. "

And my plate project. Leather covered plate with white ceramic plate.
