No, I didn't report to Pinterest. May I should. Or may I will make soon blog post (+ also to my website) real info about copyrights, how to use photos, logos and text with together.
The problem is, that before internet and today social media and bloggers, it was Art Directors, Photographers and Journalists on the magazines which normally used photos public way and they are always known what are the rules with publishing and photos. Now when social media is here, example Bloggers don't know the rules. And those rules are not just rules, them are the law.
Last week we found new webshop from the Netherlands who was used all El Ramla Hamra photos on their webshop page, Pinterest and Facebook page - also all Melanie's maken text. Without permission. El Ramla Hamra company is not order (and paid) those photos from me that some other company can use them by free. In the end, this webshop was kind and removed all those photos when we asked. It was good. Other way we could just send invoice about using photos without permission and we had rights to do that.
Only free photos to your own BUSINESS are manufactures promotion photos (interior or/both product) and you can use them for your business only IF you SELLING those products and the place where this product is on your webshop - not like background image on your webshop.
But yes, I should make info page to my website about the rules.
