I am a Finnish, Amsterdam based Lifestyle Photo Stylist and Photographer. My main focus is with my Photography with Photo Styling.
What I’m NOT? I’m not a Fashion Stylist or a Interior Stylist, like people often thinking. I’m not anymore a journalist too. And I’m changed PICTURE THIS! PHOTOGRAPHY under to my own name Paulina Arcklin Photography + Styling. Just if you will see here and on Pinterest few different logos from me.
What I then do? I’m just building interior PHOTOS and CONCEPTS by styling and photography - I choose location, items and I’m setting how those items are on the photos. But, I also take pictures of others styled homes, shops etc. but I don’t style people homes. I’m a Photographer and I’m interested in how everything looks on the PHOTOS.
I’ve put together everything that I’m passionate about: Interior Photo Planning, Photo Styling and Photography. “It’s not just a picture. It’s your image. It’s my passion”. I use only natural lights because that’s the way to capture the essence of a room. It also give most real life feeling to the picture. And I mostly use real interiors, when I photograph lifestyle pictures.
My background & past…
I’m spending the 8 years working as a freelance Interior & Decorating Writer - Stylist for interior magazines internationally. My main focus has been making Home Stories for magazines: Photo Styling and Story Writing and working closely with Photographers. I also make many interior product pages for interior magazines and commercial photo planning & styling for still photos. For the 8 last years I have also been a Photo Reasearcher for interior magazines and a blogger myself too, so I know what kind of images magazines and readers respond best to.
My Home Stories are published in 9 countries and my own home featured in Dutch VTwonen and 101 Woonideeën, Elle Decoration UK, Elle Korea, Bolig Pluss Norway, Wohnidee in Germany, Glorian Koti and Deko in Finland.
And how about now?
A NEW CONCEPT! A full service package from concept to planning, photo styling, photography.
Today, my customers are Web Shops, Producers, Brands etc. All those who need photos for their catalogues, advertising and promotion use.
People love to share amazing and professionally styled photos! And what is a more affective promotional place than Facebook or Pinterest? It’s the picture that is talking today, and tomorrow.
